Upcoming Events
Hello and thank you for visiting the BOHVC website.
There isn't much here now but please check back with us as we are expanding over the next few weeks.
We created the Berkshire Off Highway Vehicle Coalition to help spearhead the movement to expand and increase the trails available for all types of off road riding in Massachusetts and more specifically the Berkshires. BOHVC is the recipient of the Massachusetts Off Highway Vehicle Riding Area Grant. We hope to use those resources to assist our small local towns and cities in planning and creating more trails as well as to improve on the existing trails.
We are looking for riders who are enthusiastic about off road riding not just Side by Sides but ATV and Dirtbikes as well. Our goal is to create more clubs and with them a stronger voice to be heard by our state legislaters. Only with the support of clubs will the Mass OHV Coordinator and the OHV advisory committee have the power they need to encourage the state to update and improve the Mass ATV registration system and off road riding regulations.
Our first meeting will be held in September. Please join us and share with us your thoughts and concerns. Are there regulations you think should be updated? How would you like the registration process changed? Where do you think trails could be added? COVID has added some difficulty getting this meeting planned but as soon as we have a date and time is set we will post it here, so please check back.
We will also be hosting a group ride in the near future. What better way to spend a beautiful weekend day than quarantining in your side-by-side or ATV riding the trails? As soon as we have a date and time for that it will be posted here as well.
If you have any specific questions or would like to contest us directly please email us here.
Thank you for your patience as we grow!
See you on the trails!
